I think we can rule out Olson on the coaching staff as OC and maybe everything else because Dan Jackson isn't following Ryan Olson on Twitter. Olson is following Jackson. Jackson's last year was was 2019, and Olson's first was 2020. That being said, isn't it usually custom to keep at least one or two coaches on the staff?

If Jackson wanted to try to get a coach from Rogers, he'd have to move fast because they're moving even faster. Rogers' team probably landed in Washington the same day Jimmy did, so they're been working together for days as a new staff and meeting with players/recruits in-person.
It's no certainty Olson lands at WSU. I'd be in favor of keeping him on staff for continuity but not as a play caller. Would he take a demotion to OL? That seems the best he can hope for at WSU. At this point the assumption seems to be that he's not joining Jimmy & Co. Reading the Twitter team leaves, he's following Dan Jackson. He's not following Jimmy, Fruend, Bobbit, the cousins, etc. Maybe he never has but it seems like something is up there.

According to Coach Stig on this podcast, he unofficially said that there will be 3 former SDSU assistants, or people with SDSU ties, or people that Stig knows that will be a part of Jackson's staff.

Chances it could be Eidsness or Clint Brown?

Riggs doesn't seem to have a twitter. If he's interested in coaching at the college level again, he'll certainly need one. I figured even Nick Saban might have one and discovered Jimmy following a fake Nick Saban.
Smith is following Jackson and vice-versa.

He started following Vorhees this morning (2 of 10 Kirby follows are UW accounts). He isn't following Woods, Hawthorne, or Humphrey. He is following Kobe Clayborne

Jackson has been active on Twitter following at least 30 some people including Angel Johnson, Chase Mason, some commits, and decommits like Isaiah Hung (not following Jackson)
Owen Ostroski (the Tulsa grad transfer) is following Jackson

Bergstrom was making around $115k last year according to this. 5-6 record the past two years.

Eidsness' salary for 2024 was $150k ( max bonus $50k ). SDSU Coordinators I believe were around 115 last year.

Luke Meadows - NIU Offensive Line Coach - making $100k

Jesse Currier - 6th Season as DC of MSU-M

Chuck Case - OC/Offensive Line coach Nichols College - 2021 NIU offensive quality control then he came to SDSU 2022-2023

Spencer Erickson - DC/Linebackers Winona State

Mikey Daniel may make an appearance (spent 2023 at Nebraska) as a developmental performance quality control - could have been mutual follows with Chase Mason from a while ago

Arion Shinaver - Asst safeties coach Vandy. He was an defensive intern at Vandy during Jackson's first year, then a defense GA in his second. Following sdsu/new mexico football twitters

Travis D. Moore Sr. - NIU DE's - spent 2 years working with Jackson - making $115k - this one seems unrealistic

With all due respect to Eidsness, I would prefer someone else to be OC. I remember his last few years in Brookings and it wasnt great.
I hope for someone with some creativity and the ability to make adjustments.

How about Shannon Moore as OC and assistant Head Coach?

I need to look back at who was OC with Sumner, Christian, etc. When meadows was OC it felt like this year. Didn't have anything new or a wrinkle to add. Lujan had the wrinkles and new looks that worked. Meadows I felt like when we had line stacked we would shift TE and run that direction and only pass with 3 wr sets. I probably don't remember correctly but seemed like that.

With our depth at RB I wish we would run some Y formations. Maybe it's out of favor now but when we use too it seemed like it worked well. Maybe when Konig and the minnett were RBs? Anyone else recall that at all?

Eidsness was OC then. His adaptability is subject to debate, because others have noted that as a strength of his

Brown I think is making too much at Kansas State now. He just completed his first year as the Director of Roster Management. This article (4/23/23) says the lowest of the 10 non HC full time coach salaries was $283,000. Couldn't find any info on his salary, but he's top level support staff, so I imagine he's set.

Role description: Brown oversees the football recruiting staff as he manages the composition of the football roster and, in consultation with head coach Chris Klieman and the assistant coaches, determines the needs for future teams, as well as develop a strategy to retain current student-athletes and attain prospective student-athletes.

might be the first realistic non stig tree coach connected to Jackson (DJ is following him) with some SD ties that I've found
Aman Anand - Special Teams Coordinator Grambling State (twitter) following Stig, Schleusner, Josh Davis, Vince Benedetto, JI, Jackson

Student Assistant Coach South Dakota School of Mines and Technology 2012-2014
4 years as grad assistant NAU 2015, Utah State 2016-2017, Memphis 2018
Penn State 2019 -> Baylor (Assistant Special Teams Coordinator) 2020-2022
Texas Southern RB Coach and Special Teams Coordinator 2023
Grambling State Special Teams Coordinator 2024

Here is my list of complete guesses and gut feeling of most likely to least likely, and it is supposedly only 3 familiar names...
                            1. Eric Eidsness - OC
                            2. Christian Smith - DC
                            3. Vince Bendetto - Position coach of some kind on the offensive side
                            4. Luke Meadows - OL or OC?
                            5. Brian Bergstrom - DC
                            6. Jesse Currier - DC
                            7. Shannon Moore - ST and other higher level title
                            8. Marc Davis - Football Ops
                            9. Clint Brown - DC

Nice little teaser.... hopefully the players like it more than the fans. Then in turn the fans will like it because of the players and play on the field.
