The MVFC rep is from NDSU. He has to be out of the room when they decide the MVFC rankings. But will his presence make a difference? Per Tyler M on the radio.

Not just the Valley rep; he's the Selection Committee Chair. Larsen discussed this on an episode of Sam Herder's podcast (begins approx. 20:10 mark).

Suffice it to say, he reportedly "can provide factual information to the committee" prior to leaving the room. He can also vote on the composition of the playoff pool, but he'd have to recuse himself from tasks like ranking teams within the pool

I hope we are home but would rather go through fargo if needed. Msu is the team to beat imho.

I'd be disappointed if the Jacks aren't the 2nd seed, but you might as well beat the "team to beat" early.

I've watched both MSU and NDSU play. IMHO State matches up better against MSU than NDSU. If State has an away game to get to Frisco I would rather it be in Bozeman than Fargo. I expect State to get a 2 seed so that may be moot.
