Other interesting games - NDSU up 21-17 and driving with 12:30 left in the 4th. Snow is flying in Bozeman as Cats are walloping the Griz 27-3 with 12 minutes left in the 4th.

From around the Valley ---- Illinois State solidifies their playoff chances with a 35-13 beating of UND and Southern Illinois absolutely waxes the horses of Murray State 62-0... Fighting Farley's currently up 34-24 over the trees with 4:46 left in the 3rd, trying to send Coach Farley out in style.

NDSU seems to have a little edge on momentum and QB Miller has taken the Bison on his shoulders and is carrying the team. USD started pretty well but may have lost their mojo. Lot of time left for USD but it appears they've lost a little of the fire they had in the first half.

I don't think we'd pass the Bison even if USD won in a close contest. If Yotes won in a blowout... MAYBE.... but I think our only chance was with the Griz, who are currently hibernating in Bozeman.......... And even if they won, I don't think it's a guarantee that we pass Montana State.

In fact, I think best case scenario was a NDSU win with a Montana big win. That's not going to happen though. Jacks will get a couple home games, then go on the road for semis, Lord willing.
