Selection show: 11:30 am (Central) tomorrow. Is the committee going to try to set up the selections so that there's a chance only one Valley team gets to Frisco? That'll be challenging for the committee with three of the Valley teams along with Montana State being quite clearly ahead of the rest of FCS.

        45-9. Final.

South Dakota State University Jackrabbits are Missouri Valley Football Conference Champions.

          That's the final: 45-9.
Missouri State finishes with an 8-4 record. SDSU plans to play again.

If I were betting on what the top 5 will be at least it’ll be this:

            1. Montana State
            2. SDSU
            3. USD
            4. NDSU
            5. UC Davis

Should be a shot at getting another title game between Valley teams.

USD should be 4. They have the worst resume' of the 3 Valley teams.

I think it will prove to be much more than challenging, no?

they would have to move one of the 3 MVFC Co Champs OUT of the top 4 seeds. can you even imagine the outrage? wow

it is gonna be a VERY VERY interesting selection show!!!
will MSU move to the one seed?
I admit I am prejudiced in thinking USD has the weakest claim to be the top seed, but in my mind all 4 top teams can make sensible arguments to be the top seed

who gets the one seed and which MVFC team goes on the MSU half of the bracket seem to be the two biggest questions

ok those seem to be the questions, what are your predictions? probably needs to be on a different thread

I wont predict the seeds, but my prediction is that MSU and NDSU get a rematch of the playoff game from last year and the Jacks have a pre Friscoe rematch with USD

Honestly seeding the Dakotas will be a nightmare and could go any direction. Could definitely see MSU jumping NDSU for 1 and nothing else changing, meaning the Jacks would go through Fargo.

100% agree with you!! it will be a nightmare. i really can NOT imagine they can put all 3 dakota schools on one side of the bracket, but if they want to do that, it seems like they absolutely have to seed them at 1, 4, and 5. that will be a stretch and i cannot fathom any scenario they can justify moving one of them down to a 6 seed

as we have seen all year, Sagarin has never moved the Jacks out of the top spot for FCS schools. will that be a significant factor?

congratulations to the Jacks for being MVFC Champs again!!! also congrats to MSU for a good final season in fbs

i am expecting the Jacks to get shutout of individual awards this year. Nielson likely gets coach of the year

To be honest. I would prefer playing in Fargo over Bozeman.

The MVFC rep is from NDSU. He has to be out of the room when they decide the MVFC rankings. But will his presence make a difference? Per Tyler M on the radio.

i am not making any guarantees, but I like the Jacks chances in either scenario. either way it would likely be a tough and fun game!!!

I think we are 2 seed. With 60% confidence. Otherwise 3. No way usd passes us. Just depends if ndsu drops 1 or 2 spots?

I hope we are home but would rather go through fargo if needed. Msu is the team to beat imho.
