offer on
WR Kellen Watson 6'3" 195lb Mishawaka, IN
Looks like he transitioned from WR to QB this past season. this person called him the 3rd fastest player in Indiana
on3 recruiting guy retweeted Kellen's offer and had this to say "... One of the fastest players in the Midwest"

I don't think its so much amazing relationships that have been built between the 2025 recruits and the coaches, but rather that Washington State is flush with cash that they are distributing to these kids. I think on paper the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes are the best we ever had do in large part to the success of the program that Stig built and all of that was done with SDSU's recruiting budget. This will have a major impact on the product we put on the field the next two years as our depth has taken a major hit. I think Jackson has assembled a superior coaching staff and they will produce, but going to lower my expectations for 2025. I also think you will some of the 30 players who have departed for WSU back in the portal soon.

Basically the only connections they have to SDSU are the coaches who they built relationships with. I don't like it, but I can see the attraction. On the other hand, it bothers me that players who have been on campus and involved with the program for years made their decisions. I do think that a number of them will eventually regret the move.
I’ve chosen to view this as the ones that were willing to leave were not going to be the type of leaders we want for the next class of players anyway. I’ll miss some of their skills as players - leadership qualities- not so much.
The decimation of basically 2 full recruiting classes will be a hurdle for the new staff to overcome, but the culture is still good. 19 of the 27 players are on the defensive side of the ball. Depth and special teams may be a challenge until we can recover.

I see that the Jimmy Rogers' poach count has reached 30 SDSU players and recruits, according to Jackrabbit Illustrated. (Ten other SDSU players are going elsewhere.) If and when Rogers starts seriously recruiting the Washington State area and the rest of the United States, football prospects and their parents would be wise to be skeptical about anything he says. This space for lease.

I agree. I know you can never have too many Offensive Lineman, but I feel really good about that area of our recruiting class. I hope we can land Reggie Kloehn (DL) and Casey Larson (LB). Both appear to be high level recruits that would fill some voids we have due to the WSU departures. Both were committed to Dan at Idaho.
