Sounds like the NCAA denied his request for an extra year.

      • Jackson just stated during the spring game that there will be a RB transfer announced shortly.

        • Zimmer's article stated that Jackson plans to bring in double digit number of transfers in the spring window, which will include some All-American level players. Take it for what its worth.

How many players did we lose? We can't have much more than a dozen transfers in so far do we?

i guess i could / should just go back to the article and check, but I dont feel like going back to the article at this moment. my recollection of the article, however, is that Jackson said "COULD" reach double digits. I dont believe it said he is planning on double digits

                  Your recollection is correct.

The article also mentions that while RB and DL are positions where there is opportunity to add depth, Jackson noted that players want to come here, so SDSU doesn't need to take others' "leftovers," and he thinks some of the transfers could be All-American level players for Jacks.

                  • Ha good grief I can't get away with anything on this website. I sincerely apologize if it ends up being 8 instead of 10. I feel like the fact he brought up double digits at all means he is planning to get close to that number.

Let's say it is 10-12 Given current depth chart, where would you like to see them add transfers?

Sounds like the kicking situation is dire so I'd start there.

Definitely agree there. I'd like to see at least another safety and a blocking TE too.

It'd be interesting to see how many viable prospects there would be.

Blocking TE is what we have in the transfer from Iowa right?
