I'm wondering if there is a reason we haven't offered AJ Vinatieri. Seems crazy not to keep that family line kicking in Brookings!
Good question. I think with the limited $ and roster spots this year we likely won't see ANY specialists in the class. Again this is a 12-15 person type of class including PWOs. If/when there are departures following the fall season they may increase but there just aren't spots right now. I'd still expect a running back, wide receiver, and another offensive linemen in this class. I don't think they'll reach on a QB if they don't think the talent is there. The class is at 9 already.

There is another Vinatieri Kicker lineage, Anthony Erickson (nephew, mom is Adam's sister), from SF Jefferson coming up (Class of '23) through the ranks.
My favorite quote from Noah Thompson: "SDSU always get the best athletes from in-state and that was another big decision why I'd love to play for them."
I believe we have also offered the following that have not committed anywhere yet:
Sam Rensch, ATH
Jacob Parrish, CB
Cody Simoncic, LB/DB
Carson Hegerle, WR/DB
Logan Green, DL
The higher end recruits are likely waiting to see if they get some FBS offers closer to the early signing date..With only 5 rbs on the roster, and Pierre likely looking at the pros after this season, the Jacks will need to bring at least a couple of backs.

Do you count Angel Johnson as a RB or WR?
I realize he's listed as a WR on roster, but he had six carries against Lindenwood.
Jacks get their RB for class of 22. www.twitter.com/TankL_ Also had offers from Air Force, Navy, Eastern Illinois, UNI, Ind. State, Illinois State, Missouri State, Idaho and Fordham.
