    Go State!
I sure hope the rumor is true, shaping up to be a real nice home schedule next season with three likely top 20 or better teams coming to town!

    Sept. 15 - Northern Iowa
    Sept. 22 - Texas State
    Sept. 29 - Stephen F. Austin
    Oct. 20 - Cal Poly
    Nov.10 - Southern Utah
    Nov. 17 - NDSU

      Re: 2007 Schedule

Getting UNI to fill that date is probably the best-case scenario for us. Definitely better than a NAIA, D-II, or a wannabe school. I'm sure the people in Verminville won't be happy, but that's their problem......

          Go State!
I hope this rumor is true also. We need help with the '07 home schedule more than the '08 home schedule. Assuming that we are invited to the Gateway.

          Go State!!! 8-) 8-) 8-)

Do we get to add that magical 12th game next year or not? Anybody out there know if we could get another home game?

The 12th game will be voted on in the first week of January at the NCAA convention.

Which came off the PantherNation schedule board.

That's an impressive, but not killed schedule. Take a look at the suicide schedule that Southern Utah is making!!!!

As discussed at AGS, this is INSANE!

From the SUU article linked above:

He is quick to mention, however, it isn't likely to get much easier next year with games against Montana, Montana State, Youngstown State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, North Dakota State and McNeese State.

Add UCD, SDSU, NDSU and Cal POLY

                    Re: 2007 Schedule

                    From Terry V.'s blog.

                    http://blogs.argusleadermedia.com/sports/category/sdsu/

Just spoke to SDSU athletic director Fred Oien. The override vote to allow Football Championship Subdivision teams to play 12 games did not pass at the NCAA Convention in Orlando, Fla.

                                Re: 2007 Schedule

We should easily average 11,000 this year as long as the team doesn't totally bomb.

Northern Iowa, first home game. 15,000

                                Texas State, beef bowl-10,000

                                Stephen Austin, Hobo Days-15,000

Cal Poly, pheasant opener-8000 -Brilliant move to make this a night game.

Southern Utah-Nov cold-8000. Depends on how we're playing. If playing poorly 5000

NDSU- cold, but if we are competing for GWFC title -15000. If not competing and cold 8000

If the weather and the team are decent we should average over 10,000 easy.
