Re: 2019 Recruiting List
Jordan Gandy commits this morning. Really a nice pickup as a PWO that could earn a scholarship down the road.

Re: 2019 Recruiting List
PWO Offer:
Jordan Gandy, 5'10, 175, CB out of DeKalb, IL https://twitter.com/_jordangandy_/st...12196761276423

I saw him at one of the prospect camps this summer. Really physical. Him and Terrell Hall (NDSU commit) were the top two corners this summer at the prospect camps.

This isn't 2019-specific, but Stig and his recruiting approaches are featured in this article from USA Today/Playced

Do you suppose Stig counts the 16 as scholarship commitments and we have 3 preferred walk-ons?

Yes, you need to bring in extras as they don't always pan out for various reasons. we also brought in five last year too. However, I suspect that we are offering more than two schollies to the 2019 class.)

So how many scholarships will we be offering to the 2019 class? Will we hold any for the highly ranked players that fall through the cracks after the initial signing period due to the numbers games that Power 5 programs have to deal with? We have 14 seniors on the roster and I'm not sure if all are on scholarship. Furthermore, there are always some who leave the program prior to completing their senior year of eligibility.
We have 19 commits on the list, and there often are individuals who haven't made public announcements that could be in the fold. Moreover, some on the list are preferred walk-ons.
