Even though Mason had some good numbers at the Sanford POWER Riggs Football Combine on Friday I am confident that he hasn't received an offer from SDSU.

Kemo's midnight (or later) forays in to twitterland to get the updates on offers has been amazing. However, it pales in comparison to what the staff is doing by traveling the country visiting with potential recruits and their families. They are doing this after countless hours scouring video and bios of high school talent. It made me think of the quantity of offers our staff has submitted that we know about, just three plus months after signing day. Here's the summary thus far:

1 - commit
35 offers on offense
27 offers on defense
8 commits to FBS schools after we've offered
71 offers to date in this class

This doesn't even scratch the surface of those they have not made offers to. The pace of offers has increased across all of football. I'm sure the early signing period of December 20-22 later this year has something to do with it. However, the pressure to sign top recruits and the added venues for recruits to gain exposure has exploded in recent years. It is amazing what has changed in recruiting in just one generation!
