I didn't see it when it opened, but the odds are even right now. Straight up pick em. Pretty cool to see we're getting respect like that against the #1 team. Probably has a lot to do with the way they have won games. Honestly I think they are prime for a loss, squeaking by in a lot of games this year, I think this is the one they drop.

They return several, if not most of the key players from last year's squad.

They have had some close contests, in the Valley, but they always find a way to win.

Post what you know about them here.
Question for those in the know. I have not watched ISUr play this year. Are they a physical defense? Think NDSU and UNI.

Interesting tidbit, SDSU is 13-1 in our last 14 final home games. Not too shabby, hopefully we close out CAS with a win.

Top of my head, is the one loss Southern Illinois in 2009?

Would like to see something like what ryan berry did to them a number of years back. That would be nice. Actually wish it would be cruddy weather for it. We seem to play really really well in cold or adverse conditions.

Used to. One has to wonder if practicing the SJAC changes this. At least I wonder if it does.

Yes it was. Still a pretty nice trend, hopefully it continues.

Used too? The two poor weather games the jacks have had this year were two of their best games. Youngstown was upper 30's with wind and moisture and Missouri st. also had moisture. The two poor games they've had the weather couldn't have been much better than it was

Fair enough, I forget that the weather was poor @ YSU. As it didn't look bad on the TV and I wasn't there experiencing it. But I was thinking more along the lines of that playoff game last year bad.

Thats what I was thinking Montana state bad or really cold or windy.

Yes it was an awesome game. Best FB experience I've had. Remember they utilized the SJAC last year and all foul weather games they had the offense rolled. W IL, USD and MT St.

Cold, windy, snowy are not things I want to see on Saturday! Maybe I'm too old for all that but good FB teams win in nice weather too!

You are 100% correct. I forgot we were lucky enough to have the SJAC last year.
I need to take the age old advice about removing all doubt.

I hear you there but it seems like we just get "Jacked" for crap weather. It seems like every crappy weather game the last few years we've come out strong. YSU 2 yrs ago, the E IL playoff game, I'll take it however. I can dress for the cruddy weather. MT wasn't that bad actually, sure it was cold but the wind wasn't bad, at least where we were. The snow was actually very cool, just seemed like perfect FB weather.
