Four years ago I wanted Gandy to start over Zenner, therefore I`m going to stay out of the Lujan vs Christion debate.

Everyone is entitled to a few mistakes. I asked Stig once why Gandy did not play more, and his reply was He is too casual. And now he is what fourth in the depth chart. I assume Gandy knows the benefits of free education. No doubt a great guy who does value education.

Back to topic, TC has the amazing talent and we are fools not to tap into those skills. At least from the stands he looks rather small, but is 6'2", I am worried about injuries as from now on he has a target on his back.

Refering to how fans fall inlove quickly with the next best thing. Fans were going nuts thinking how great his career would be from his hot start. Just saying to give tc time and not assume he will steamroll everyone. He might have some growing pains.

There were many who shared those sentiments. Something about Gandy having more wiggle. I wanted ZZ because he volunteered and taught my elementary daughter Spanish in the mornings. Just a great kid.

Gandy is is another great kid, I spoke with him a couple summers ago. Nice and respectful.

I am glad the decision is not mine to make. I will cheer, ln a somewhat subdued fashion, generally from a sitting position, for whoever (or is it whomever ) plays.

You know what I would do if I was head coach (yeah, I know, thankfully I'm not) I would do something similar to what Brian Kelly did with Everett Golson and Tommy Rees when Notre Dame made it to the BS championship. It's clear that Taryn has more talent and athleticism (just like Golson) than Zach but Zach has more experience (just like Rees). Let Taryn play but if it comes down to the final drive, let Zach engineer the drive.

What a good problem to have two quality quarterbacks to choose from! None of us have any clue what is actually going to happen. Heck, last week Jimmy Jack had info from an assistant coach that said no way were they going to start TC. None of us really have a clue and Stig seems to be pretty quiet on all of this not wanting to tip off YSU.

I believe whatever transpires both Zach and TC are good for each other. I'm all for TC because of the skill set he brings. Zach, from what I can tell is an excellent young man and a great mentor. Stig said it was Lujan who told Taryn he was starting. Great leader, I see him getting in to the coaching side when he is finished. Smart kid, who understands and communicates well with others. If he becomes the backup, I don't see him hanging his head. He'll continue to compete and add what he can to help the others improve.

And he was the starter this year. He didnt win the starting job by default. He earned it. Not saying TC couldnt have grown in that time to push him or improve obviously, This is more an issue the coaches didnt trust Douglas to win us a game, or Lujan is more injured then they let on. If douglas is a capable back up no way TC gets in. Just remember how fans fell inlove with TOB and thought he was the next great thing too. hopefully TC is, but hype and actually doing it are 2 different things.

Lujan was the backup last year. Just because there was a lapse between our "franchise quarterbacks", he becomes the starter that shouldn't lose his job? I don't think so. He's a backup qb.

And he was the starter this year. He didnt win the starting job by default. He earned it.
