He looks to have great balance, a low center of gravity, great job of turning it up the sideline, and amazing break away speed. I'll refrain from comparing him to his brother, but he looks exciting. Going to be a crowded backfield next year. Yet another good problem to have.

Seen his HUDL video multiple times. He does look to have a similar style and build to Zach, but to say he has Zach's vision from a high school highlight video is a stretch. Not saying Sam doesn't have good vision or can't be as good as Zach, but I can't deem them "comparable" with the information we have at this time.

To reiterate, I'm excited about Sam's potential, I just don't think it's fair to Sam to start comparing him to one of the best running back in college football history even if he shares the same bloodlines.

Zach Lujan is practicing today. SDSU QBs splitting reps evenly. Taryn Christion listed as starter on 2-deep.
I like that, working together and getting lujan reps to keep him loose.

Zach's vision when it came to reading blocks and seeing holes was at an elite level. I'll wait to see how Sam is in that area before I start getting too excited about him being the second coming.

Sam as far as I know is still sidelined with injury but should be healthy for spring ball. That staff is very high on him. At this stage he's ahead of zach in all the measureables, the one thing they can't measure is heart. I think he'll turn out well there too. Those parents have raised phenomenal children.

I realize this is thread drift but one last point.

Premature? Maybe, but in case we need a reminder of how similar he is to Zach here is his hudl again.
Remember he was the 100 meter champ in track too, the highlights show that.

Gandy is is another great kid, I spoke with him a couple summers ago. Nice and respectful.

Come on man, we're fans. Of course we are going to have extremely high expectations for the most likely highest touted recruit we've ever got, who plays the most important position on the field, and is from South Dakota.
