Re: Eastern Washington
This week is gonna be fun, kind of like Old Home for me. I was born in Watertown and grew up in Aberdeen attending at Roncalli HS before moving west. My wife and I get back to Aberdeen a couple of times each year and really enjoy the people.
Hope this games meets everyone's expectations and all players come away injury free.
Go Eagles!

Do they have a history of drawing bigger crowds in the playoffs?
On the stadium, EWU is currently in the governance (silent) phase of a stadium expansion called the Gateway Project. It includes the construction of a massive complex on the west side of the stadium which would increase capacity to 18,000+, and would include new locker rooms, athletic offices, commercial space, hall of fame, etc.

Where did this "one-dimensional" bunk originate? Do people ever check facts any more? Some lazy pundit or fan-forum expert watches one game where the Jackrabbits' runnng backs are running roughshod over another team and all of a sudden the Jacks can't pass?
Facts.
Sumner has thrown for 2,684 yards. The team has rushed for 2,266 yards (and against MVC defenses). That is called balance.
The Jacks have had 107 first downs by the run, 124 by the pass. Sumner has averaged 16 completions a game, for crying out loud.
Now, get off my lawn.

We don't usually draw as well during the playoffs as we would during the regular season, especially in the opening rounds. I suppose the biggest reasons are the adverse weather, and the fact that classes aren't usually in session. We draw the best crowds from September through November. My expectation is that we'll draw somewhere around 9k for our game with SDSU, and that'd be a "decent" crowd for us.

If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

Re: Eastern Washington
Is Oregan State that bad, or is Vernon Adams and EWU that good? I not much of x and o guy but Vernon does look like something that will be hard to contain this Saturday. We definitely need to keep EWU off the field, and control the ball.
