His highlights look pretty good. Definitely has the arm strength for the college level.

Hopefully we are recruiting his receiver #83 in those highlights as well. He was embarrassing a lot of DB's in those clips.

It looks like he has offers from Eastern Washington, Montana St, Northern Colorado, and New Mexico St. He definitely looks like a baller.

Couple really needed recruits for us to make a run next year. Both lines are getting hit by graduation, and while we have some underclassmen that are capable of filling those roles, this adds to the depth and competition for those spots.

Zimmerman seems to be an incredible get considering how many teams we beat out for him.

TV tweeted that both Zimmerman and Schultz will enroll in January so they will be around for spring workouts and spring ball which is really nice.

I was disappointed to see that Luke Rassmussen has committed to the Gophers. It doesn't surprise me, but I was hoping he would be the next Witzmann. Huge framed offensive lineman from Wisconsion that you could count on anchoring the line for multiple years.

OT - Luke Rasmussen, 6'7" 240, Brookfield, WI (Central)
Offers: Air Force, Ball St, Bowling Green, E Michigan, Fordham, Harvard, Illinois St, New Mexico, UND, NDSU, Penn, W Michigan, Wyoming, Yale

The Omaha World Herald posted their All-Nebraska teams and based on the kids listed, the SDSU coaches are targeting the right guys. Listed below are the two SDSU commits that made the All-Nebraska team (all-classes).

Isaac Wallace, Ralston, Running back, 6-2, 190, Sr. (1st Team - All Nebraska)
Back-to-back 400-yard games, a first in 11 man, helped him to 2,549 yards, and he scored a Class B-record 39 TDs.

Trey Carr, Omaha Burke, Back, 5-11, 170, Sr. (1st Team - All Nebraska)
A two-time All-Nebraska pick, he led Class A with six interceptions.

If you check out the full line up of All-State players, you will see numerous players that are being recruited or were recruited by the staff and chose other schools. (Some have committed to be Bison.)

Here is the accompaning story for the teams.

There are a couple of players that are underclassmen that the staff is also recruiting for the class of 2015. One lineman that has not received a ton of notice yet is Brian Arp from Kearney. (First Team All-Nebraska as a junior) I'm hoping this kid slides under the radar as he is a beast and has been at the Class A level since his sophomore year. He is 6'3" 260 with incredible footwork.

Bondon has more offers now, from SIU, Illinois St, and Austin Peay. He is keeping his recruitment open since verbaling to us.

Per GoYotes.net - USD Head Coach Joe Glenn and Associate Head Coach Wesley Beschorner stopped by to see Andrew Van Ginkel, Rock Valley, and Brandon Snyder, West Lyon, this morning. It sounds like both are taking official visits in early January to USD.

Any chance Marlette changes his mind? I'm guessing he has some connection to the hew NDSU head coach beings both are defensive guys.

Yes you are very correct sir. The Jacks love tall left tackles and run contrary to most programs. Usually the right tackle is the tallest in other programs. I hope they come up with someone to replace Witzmann.

I'm not as excited about the juco O-line transfer. I don't think we've had a successful juco O-line transfer yet. They are juco for a reason. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised. The Jacks O-line system takes about a year to pick up and by then most juco's only have 1 left. Maybe this one will red shirt and then have two left?
