    how many star recruits did northnern get? Any? most FBS schools will get a couple 2 star and maybe some 3 star recruits. I guess if they are good enough to get national recruiting talk and get 2 or 3 stars, they must be sort of good. Maybe not good enough for nothern, but still pretty good.

      I guess I trust our coaches and who we get are good for us. If the coaches think they are good enough to play here then so do i.

        Just to be clear, my point here isn't to dog Northern, but to point out, yet again, the feckless yet ineffable lameness of the Sioux Falls broadcast sports media scene.

            I really wonder if the KWSN crew has blinders on, is completely uninformed or simply makes comments for shock value.

            With regards to Northern, it appears they did put together a pretty good class & I would love to see them become the dominant D2 team in SD.

                The good thing about wearing blinders, I guess, is that you don't get distracted by what's going on to either side of you.

                I guess somebody better ask Stig why he didn't go after those dynamite local guys that Northern snapped up. I'll be curious to hear if they follow up in this vein when the interview Stig in the 4pm hour . . . "Stig, why wasn't your recruiting class as talented as Northern's?"

                Heh.
                Maybe we should schedule them in four years just for the hell of it

                  Here is some baseball film on Kyle Paris, Terry mentioned that he may be interested in playing both, possibly. The reason I posted it though is you can't get a good inclination on his size with football film but this video shows that he is a pretty solid kid, if you look at the date its just over a year old as well.

                    You guys crack me up........we all know that what he was saying is that their class fits better into the NSIC than he feels our class will in the MVC. You really thought he was comparing classes head to head? I have some ocean front property in my hometown in SD I want to sell ya!

                      I quoted his EXACT words. I thought about the possibility he was adding an implicit "at their level" but "I think they got some really good athletes who could play with anybody, they really could!"" pretty much shoots that down.

                        These are the same two jokers who spent an entire segment ragging on the Bracketbuster game. They said it was over-hyped because the winner is not gauranteed a place in the big dance! Did anybody in their right mind actually think winning a Bracketbuster game got them one of the automatic bids to the tourney? Do some research. I can't believe my radio ended up there, never again.

                          They also thought USD was going to play Texas Tech and that every game from the bracketbusters was on ESPN.

                          Unbelievable how uninformed the hosts of the show are. Is it really that hard to google "bracketbusters" and read about the event for 5 minutes and understand it a bit before going on the air to talk about it for half an hour on your show?

                            It's really a shame that these clowns are still on the air. They do little to no research and pretend to be "informed".

                              I listened to them once. I quickly realized it was some of the worst sports talk radio broadcasted anywhere. They didn't have a clue about what they were talking about. It was just terrible. I have enjoyed Mike H and Mark O the few times I've been in the car while they are on. Mike and Mark are professionals, unlike those other jokers.

                                You serious? Those guys probably can't name every team in the MVFC let alone speak to anything about the football that is played in the conference.
