He made a few mistakes but most of the time plays smart. And if he over throws usually it is long which is good. When he took hits he lowered the shoulder and if anything the LB he hit took the shot more then sumner.

Sumner did some things very well, he made a couple of very bad throws, the INT was under thrown and the 2point conversion was under thrown. However the biggest problem with him is his willingness to take hits that he doesn't need to take. Some people love that he has heart to take big hits, but there is a time and a place. Learn to slide or you will be on the sideline hurt. He does better when he is on the move, seemed to not trust the pocket when he was in it (don't blame him). The plays though aren't going to help the QB's. I don't know if I've seen a receiver run a double route this year. I did like when the TE got involved though. But when you only have 2 to 3 running routes and nobody runs a route over 12 yards the QB is going to be put in a tough spot.
Steffen is a freakish athlete. I played baseball against him his jr. year of hs and we talked to him after the game and he told us the majority of the looks he was getting was actually for safety. He got big as heck though his redshirt year and has done a very good job at DE.
Harris' injury just looked freakish. It didn't look like he caught anything, or tripped it looked just as if something gave out.

T Kool does not have vision as a RB. Zenner looks like a young Minett. Move T Kool opposite Moss and have dual threats outside. Do that and you add talent at two positions. Though I got to admit the called back TD on Kool was cool. Too bad the TE felt the need to hold.
The QB played well in my opinion but I don't have access to film.
Recievers still could quit dropping the ball too.
O-line is a merry go round/Chinese fire drill. The starters are lucky to play about half the time. The Jacks must be smarter than everyother team in America with their mass O line substitution pattern. They could be better but you got a lot of second stringers playing at any one time. Enough of the stupid penalties already.
I love the comment about recruiting linebackers to play D tacle. But Steffen, an old QB, turned into a pretty good DE.
The linebackers, especially Lien, played Ok. Lien sure can get some deep drops on pass plays.
DB's need to cover the middle of the field on 3rd and long.
Harris's injury...was it due to the field condition? What a freak occurance. I've never seen it happen before. I was nervous about the back up kickers, but they did fine.
Coaching - There is only one thing to add to the items already posted and pointed out. An item that Stig commented on and pointed out was injuries to the front 7. What did the Jacks do last week? They had an extremely tough and physical practice. What did they do for fall camp? They had extremely tough and physical practices. Injuries? Coincidence? Take a small D line and linebackers and constanly pound them week after week with you 300 + lb. O linemen. Old school coaching. Mike McCarty of the Packers, among other coaches, is practicing with less contact with the intent of keeping his players healthy. Spring ball is the best time for excess contact, not during the season.

exactly, it's the middle of the year. no need to beat the snot out of the players at this time of the year.
Another difficult loss to swallow. This team is a eyelash away from being 0 and 5. That two point conversion was really close to another loss for the Jacks
Another week and another game. Good luck Jacks

Back to College Football, hard hitting practices aren't necessary after your 4th game. But that is what the Jacks know. Lose and hit harder as if it helps.

Just like practicing without contact is why the Packers are good and not having one of the best young QBs in the league.
