YSU has some deep respect for the Rabbits.
We better respect YSU as well.

I hope the team isn't taking the attitude alot on this board seem to be taking that this game is a foregone conclusion of an easy win.

We've played well the last couple of weeks, but we need to keep the throttle parked in max and not let up.

Re: On to YSU and Hobo Day

I see this as being a similar game to the last home game against WIU. YSU has the potential to rolling up a lot of yards and SDSU will be a more ball control offense.

The Jacks should continue their M.O. that has been working. Run the ball to set up the throw. Don't get cute. If the getting is good on the ground, then keep on running. #30 and the fat guys have things figured out right now. WIU had no answer to the run and SIU didn't either. This should get the 'Guins to bite on a play action and set up what gets begged for frequently...the big play, the shot down the field.

And I like the moving of the pocket to get TOB rolling out on some throws. Not every time he drops back, but it seems to have been affective when they've used it. Just please don't roll out and try to throw across the field. This is just a recipe for a pick.

One thing I would like to see the "D" do that they didn't against WIU is force a turnover, or five. Giving up yards isn't the end of the world. Giving up touchdowns is. Wrap up those tackles and don't give up the additional yards and everything should work out fine.

Maybe YSU is stupid enough to throw to Brodie's side like SIU was.

Is anyone taking this game as a foregone conclusion? I think YSU is good and we might have a McNeese State-like 4 OT game on Saturday!

You guys are crazy. We're going to win by at least 6 TDs.

I don't get the impression anyone is taking the attitude that the conclusion is forgone. Expecting the team to play up to their potential and therefore winning an ultimately winnable game is different than concluding the Jackrabbits have already won based on the last couple of weeks. Even if fans make that conclusion that fact has absolutely no impact on the team. I expect the players are plenty amped up and looking forward to taking the field and giving their best effort. If that happens and YSU brings their best if will be a great FB game.

Wait a minute, my picking against the Jacks "to shake things up" had nothing to do with them breaking the losing streak?!!!!

Well I would think they are smart enough to realize they have no room for error at this point. 1-0 has never been more important.

One, just one, win in the first four would have allowed for an "oops". That's not an option now.

On our radio show tonight, Wolford once again reiterated that SDSU is by far and away the best team in the league he has faced this year. Best coaching, great strength, and hard nosed football players. Our coach loves your team lol.
