I watched the last 8 minutes or so of the first half of the UMKC game before heading over to the Jacks game...the Roos looked pretty good to me over that span.

      from Monday night:
Caught second half of Creighton and St. Thomas, which was very close for the first 10 minutes. The score was 59-57 Creighton with 9:47 remaining, and then the Tommies went absolutely cold - 7 minute scoring drought. Final 72-60 Creighton. Baylor finished with 11pts, 10boards, in 35 minutes on 4/9 shooting.

Oral Roberts lost to Saint Mary's by 8, 78-70. The Gaels were pretty good last year, and I'm not sure what has become of their roster since then.

NDSU lost to Arkansas by 18. Arkansas was playing without top freshman, Nick Smith Jr, who is considered to be the highest ranked college player (ranked #4 in latest mock draft according to ESPN), and it's possible he won't play tonight against Fordham. He's listed as day-to-day with a right knee injury, so there's a good chance the Jacks will see him on the 16th.

Thursday night was tough on the Summit as the bison lose at Kansas, Omaha lost at Nebraska, the Fhawks lost at Creighton, and Denver flexed against Colorado College. Hopefully these winning teams all pumped some money into the Summit coffers.

Having watched most of that game, panic is a bit much but concern is definitely warranted. I’d guess they’ll follow their usual pattern of stumbling through the non-con and then piecing things together in time to be a threat in March. There definitely seems to be less talent at the wing/guard position than usual right now though.

Watching ORU play Houston. The 7'5" guy might be an issue. Holy cow he is tall.
One hand points to campus...the other to the liquor store.

Current Summit 'standings' and NET ranking, +wins and losses. Not sure how much stake to put into NET rankings at this point, but so far SDSU is the only one to beat a school in the top 100. UMKC, Oral Roberts, and NDSU all have a couple losses in the top-25. A few scattered games being somewhat competitive.

After two somewhat competitive losses for NDSU, wheels have sure fallen off the bus from Pacific and Indiana State. Who knows. It's early....

Sample size for the NET ranking leads to some really weird results at this point. NDSU is 0-4, lost to #298 in Fargo, but is # 162?
