Under 13 at St Paul has the Tommies start fast leading ORU 21-14. 2nd half finds KC & WIU neck and neck.

KC clearly did not get the memo about keeping NDSU out of the 3-seed. Beating WIU on their home court really makes a mess out of the middle of the pack.

The Roos go to 7-6 defeating WIU(8-6) in Macomb.
ORU and Tommies shoot 3s as 45-41 halftime lead for ORU.
North Dakota is ahead at half over Denver by 14 at Grand Forks.

Tonight can give some order to the standings(seeds) as NDSU(8-6) can keep grip on 3rd with a win over KC(7-7) or slide into a tie with Roos at KC. If the bison lose, the logjam will need Saturday's games where Tommies vs Leathernecks have 8-7 teams vying for 3rd and the bison will need a win at Tulsa. South Dakota(6-8) needs help for NDSU over KC to crawl out the 7th seed spot. USD needs to win both games on the road to help themselves as well. The Jackrabbits need to get a couple of road wins to get to 5-4 on the road while keeping 2nd place(seed).

The only sure thing is Oral Roberts will be the 1 seed and we are the 2 seed. Everything else is a cluster. usd as a 9 seed would be fun. If NDSU loses one this week they might drop to the 4. That would be OK. We know our women play at noon Saturday and the men play the second game Saturday night. Gives us some extra time to get primed for whoever we play.

The two North Dakota schools going to Tulsa and playing ORU close this weekend should give teams hope that they are beatable. I'm sure the Jacks and other teams will be breaking down those game films to see how ORU was defended to slow down their offense.

They might get an early start on the indoor Frost renovations if WKIII and Dentlinger have a few dunks and blocked shots.

The Leathernecks still have some hope for a higher seed after winning in Grand Forks. Massner was a scoring machine today.

If NDSU beats St Thomas and WIU beats the bison, WIU should get the 3rd seed as they would have 2 wins over the bison. All 3 teams have 1 win over the Jackrabbits.

No AJ, Tasos or Perrot-Hunt in the starting line-up for the Yotes against ORO. Couple of Reaching the Summit podcast guys talking on Twitter said the Yote locker room is a "hot mess".
