February 14 will be a big game NDSU/SDSU. ORU plays 2 home games next week.

Interesting how every Summit League team has 1-2 more games yet to play then us. The Bison have 3 games yet to play on the road and twice they play 2 games in 3 days-one of those times is next week. We are done w/ those crazy 3 games in two days so hopefully it gives the Jacks a little more time to rest from nagging injuries but get some good solid practices in.

I too hope this works in our favor. Dec-Jan were brutal in terms of travel.

We need to get out of this funk before we start embarking on such ambitious plans.

Maybe I shouldnt speak or assume the team goals but I figure they are in no particular order something like this. Win the regular season confrence. Win the summit tourny. Get the best seed possible and win atleast 1 round in the ncaa tourny. Maybe that won't be the goal\everyyear but the last 4 or 5 years that would be a pretty realistic goal.

The standard recipe for success is win them all at home, and split all the road games. Do that and you're usually in pretty good shape. Do better than that on the road and you're in REALLY good shape.

Lose at home and you're in trouble.

Going further, I heartily agree that the goal for SDSU basketball at this point is no longer just getting to the NCAA tournament but winning games there.

IPFW @ IUPUI (ESPN3) is the lone game on the men's side tonight.

IPFW is favored by 2.

FW wins at IUPUI by 15. Anyone not taking them very seriously as a contender in Sioux Falls is probably in for a surprise. They are a team you are going to want to avoid as long as possible.

3 games tonight on the men's side:

USD @ UNO

WIU @ ORU

NDSU @ DU

The most obvious game people will be watching/paying attention to will NDSU @ Denver. That is a huge game for the Bison and a start of a tough road trip. Can the Bison squeak out another win? NDSU beat Denver in Fargo by 7 in OT. Denver is favored by 3.5.

Another game to look at will be USD @ UNO. The yotes need to get back on track after getting thumped in Fargo.

Any of the games on Midco or ESPN3?

Midco decided to go with Montana @ UND instead of USD @ UNO.

ORU/WIU will be on ESPN3. That game should be a blowout in favor of the ORU.

NDSU/Denver will be on root sports for those who get that channel.
