The Yotes are without Hemiller today. They seem to have adjusted. Yotes 31 Bison 13 at 7:20 to go in first half.

    Today's Games:

    USD @ NDSU

    WIU @ UNO

It would be nice if the Bison could somehow knock off USD in Fargo.

Lots of lead changes in the NDSU/WIU game. The game was a hairsbreadth from being tied with 1 minute to go. But missed shots and bad Bison turnovers sealed the deal in the final minute.

NDSU loses for the fifth time in seven games (now 5-5). They have USD next followed by a trip to ORU.. NDSU could easily end up finishing seventh after charging out of the gate.

WIU, meanwhile applies some definite pressure to the Jacks by winning where SDSU failed (how the hell did we lose to NDSU?). WIU still has to play at SDSU and USD though. If they can grab a top-2 spot they are really going to have to earn it.

The Bison have their hands full in Fargo. WIU has committed 1 foul in the first half compared to Bison's 7 fouls. WIU is 8-8 at the charity stripe and lead at half35-32

Wouldn't it be great to see one of these 6'5+ centers at SDSU? They only need modest athleticism to put up strong numbers in the Summit. McIntyre could have a hot shooting game and lead her team to an upset in Sioux Falls. Hopefully whatever the Jacks did against her in the second half of their game will work again because she was killing us early on.

ORU and IUPUI winning road games puts a lot of pressure on NDSU and WIU. I would not be surprised if both of those teams fall out of the top-5 by the end. WIU has 5 of their last 7 on the road, starting tomorrow at NDSU.

Shaw had 32 pts for Omaha. McIntyre got stuffed by Kelly of Omaha. It's kind of sad to think, but looking at each schools roster in the Summit this year and looking at the seniors who will graduate, the Summit might actually be worse next year than they were this year, unless some of these schools have underclassmen who step up tremendously. Gone will be Van Riper Rose DEN, Johnston DEN, Seibert FW, Markovic Jags, LeMar Bison, Taijhe Kelly Omaha, McIntyre, Balla , Jackson ORU, Loeffler, Contreras, Seekamp USD,W. ILL will have Luke back, SDSU will have plenty, as usual.

That is ridiculous. She only had 4 blocks though.

The duo of McIntyre and Kevi Luper would have been insane.

[QUOTE=rabidrabbit;268199]Well, if ORU is to break their road losing streak, Omaha looks to be the place to get it done. 0-26 in road games for the Golden Eagles. Time to see if the POTW McIntyre can carry the team to a road W.[/QUOTE
They may need to sneak Luper back into the lineup. 0-26 must be a difficult experience for the Golden Eagles.
