The entire upper area (track and bleachers) will come out and chair seats (with good sight lines!) will bowl it all in as I understand it. Suites will be included on the south side above the seating area. The project will also include an extension of the building to the south, where there would be two practice courts. Improved restrooms, concessions etc. would be included. Seating will be in the range of 6,000. I doubt anything we have to say on the board will influence the design...but I guess you can always dream. P. S. Donations to the project are welcome.
Speaking of Frost renovations... There were some rumblings that we would see the Regents OK Frost renovations this fall. Do you think the COA development had anything to do with them tabling this for another year, or were they just hopeful to get the OK this year and weren't able to make it happen?

I don't think that had anything to do with it, just that more time was needed to get all the ducks in a row to take the proposal to the Regents, so next fall would be the target (fall is the time for such moves, since the proposal then has to go to the legislature for approval).

I'm guessing the suites in the renovated Frost might look something like the ones in Nebraska's renovated Devaney Center.

I would have loved to have seen this get to the BOR this fall, but much progress has been made on campus so a year of patience will be doable for me, even when I am sitting in Frost this year with crappie site lines.

          It will come.
