KC has scored 24 points on WIU in less than 10:00. NDSU failed to score more than 22 in the entire first half - in both tries. I'd say that the loss of Parks is a big one. What a gift for NDSU, who will probably see WIU in the semi-finals and still has a decent shot at getting a #2 seed.

Parks is a force in the paint, he is critical to what they do. He is the only player in the Summit that can defend Bjorklund without needing a lot of help.

Western will be playing better by tournament time. It takes awhile for a team that loses someone like Parks to adjust and figure things out. They will still miss him if he misses the tournament,but they still have some good players.

Obviously I want us to win the title outright, but I also want to see WIU get the #2 and NDSU the #3. Make NDSU play 3-consecutive nights. Will Braun be in that kind of shape after such a long layoff?
