Nothing official yet but Im fairly certain there is a break and he is lost for the season...SUCKS.

That's the odd part, not really sure when it happened. He did have a steal and breakaway lay up in which he was fouled but did not appear to land awkwardly but told Saul he needed one, he finished out the possession until a whistle and then came out. Sat the rest of the game at the end of the bench in a walking boot. Again thats not official but the intial thought was broken bone before x-rays. Hope im wrong and if there is a break its not a major one.

Since last week was the Superbowl, maybe tonight was the Pro Bowl. Little fan interest. Little player interest. No defense. Season over.

another problem with mirror scheduling. the away team gets the shaft in the sports section with a small write up. home team get the big story. like today Jacks men good story, women stuck in Other area colleges.

Agree, I want him back for the Summit Tourney. Great wins for the Jackrabbits with week. Righted the ship and made the upcoming road trip much more meaningful. I don't see NDSU or WIU with more than 4 conference losses. Jackrabbits need to knock WIU off on the road and at home, defend home court against the rest of the league and grab a #2 seed. Bison will certainly miss Braun but I think they can continue to play at a high level. They have a great advantage over us with their win at USD and against the Jacks in Fargo.

WIU is getting pumped for this week of basketball. They are even clearing seats in a balcony area that has been storage for the baseball team and there has not been used since a game against Indiana in 2005. Thursday is whiteout day for the students/crowd. They have a very competitive squad and there may be a renewed interest in basketball that has been missing since last century. If the Jacks win this one on the road, they will need to get the lead early to keep the crowd quiet. They did it at New Mexico. The Jacks need all the games.

I'll be mildly surprised if we win in Macomb Thursday. Another Super Bowl game for an opponent, and they are hyping it as such. No excuses, but it's gonna be a very tough game. We'll take care of business at Frost and in SF though...book it

Mirror scheduling was a terrible idea. I know some people say doubleheaders make the women look JV but at least then there are some people actually in the stands watching the women play. Pretty sure there are curling matches in Fargo that draw more fans than what are women are currently drawing over the past few weeks.
