    Re: ORU -- at-large?

If ORU gets a bit, is it likely to be one of the play-in games which, if they win, earns them the privilege of playing a one seed in the first round? Is the paycheck for the play-in game the same as any other game so that if they win, which is very possible, means they earn two shares for the conference?

      - If ORU gets an at-large, they'd be playing for something like an 11/12 seed.

      - If ORU wins, they would indeed pull a second share, as the play-in games pay the same as the first round games. By virtue of appearing in at least 2 games, ORU would get the SL 2 shares.

Clarifying this post, since expanding to 68 teams last year there are two play-in games between 16A and 16B seeded teams the winner playing a #1 seed. The other two games in 2011 included a 12A vs 12B winner playing a 5 seed and an 11A vs 11B winner playing a 6 seed. Remember who the one 11 seed was?

VCU and they played in the Final 4.

Not to mention if Xavier wouldn't have played terrible today would have won the conference tourney, ORU would have been in.

You know your BCS conference is terrible when the regular season champ doesn't get into the NCAA's. That's turrible.
