I've got a question. Is a conference tournament considered regular season or post-season? If it is post season, SDSU MBB competed in a post season tournament and won a game a full year before the Yotes did. So we were first, USD was second. SSDD.

Well played . . . conference tournaments are in fact post-season events. Especially in conferences like the Summit where not all conference teams make the tournament.
Iowa State did, in fact, suck when the Jacks beat them. They had an NBA caliber player (Brackens), and still managed to really, really suck. That takes a certain amount of giftedness at sucking, you have to admit.
Now, they didn't suck as bad as approximately 90% of the teams on USD's schedule this year, but ISU did really suck hard and long last year.
(This was, in case you're scoring at home, an attempt to deflect the USD smack into a much less plowed field of Iowa State smack.)
Think it through Filbert....ISU went 15-17 last year and 13-6 at home. I do not think that qualifies as sucking long and hard. I don't even think it qualifies as sucking. I'd say it means they were pretty mediocre, doesn't it? Geesh...can anybody give the Jacks MBB team any credit, ever....

And they even won 4 of those games in conference.
ISU sucked. They weren't mediocre.
However, that doesn't take away from SDSU for beating them. They still beat a Big 12 team, which is quite the accomplishment. I mean, hell, the year that NDSU got invited to the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl AND Fiesta Bowl, their marquee win was against Minnesota. Minnesota won 1 game that year. Beating crappy major conference teams even if they completely blow doesn't make it less of an accomplishment.

The Big Red just got ran out of the building the last 10 minutes of the first half against Kentucky.
A nice run appears to be nearing its end.
UK is much too athletic for them (even though, who knows what the word 'athletic' means). I wouldn't be surprised if they met a Memphis-like end though.

What? Getting this season stripped because of NCAA violations?
I am fairly confident there will be NCAA violations while Calipari is at UK (might not be this year). It's happened everywhere else he's been.....why not UK? Of course, he had no knowledge of any of those violations.

Hahaha, I forgot they never technically made it to the Final 4, did they?
No, I meant that I wouldn't be surprised if they choked away a game they should win because of turnovers or poor free throw shooting, like Memphis did against KU.
Though, like you, I wouldn't be surprised if there were NCAA violations involved in this, or future UK teams under Calipari.
