-Umm your conference was by far the worst the nation. The last year the XDSU's were Indy's we were at least above the SWAC, two teams actually had RPI's above 200! Now only one has an RPI above 330.....

"We played in the postseason...look at us another accomplishment!"

-Umm you played in the CIT only because you won your terrible conference and then you never even threatened a Creighton team that was mid-level in the MVC and probably didn't care much about the CIT.

"You mean SDSU fans keep nay saying our accomplishments but we played five good teams and almost beat one!"

-Well six teams with RPIs of over 330 lost to you by just six points or less and another one beat you.


You know what UND fans call the Great West? A collection of mostly bad DII and NAIA level teams, sorry Yotes but as much as it pains me to agree with fans of a school that could careless about basketball... they are right.

Celebrating winning the Great West would be like NDSU or SDSU fans celebrating making the Summit League tournament over SUU.

The Jacks qualified for the conference tournament their first two years of eligibility. The direction the Coyotes appear to be headed, there is no guarantee they will do likewise.

Neither team has really accomplished anything at this point. Beating a great team, winning a real conference title, qualifying for the big dance, winning a postseason game.... those are accomplishments.

I don't want to say the Yotes are a terrible team, they just haven't proven anything.

the jacks beat a big 12 school. i would say beating a big 12 school is an accomplishment. and dont even say iowa st sucked. they are still a major and a big 12 school.

and what has usd accomplished? beating 4 gpac schools?

Come on, guys, facts is facts.

Iowa State did, in fact, suck when the Jacks beat them. They had an NBA caliber player (Brackens), and still managed to really, really suck. That takes a certain amount of giftedness at sucking, you have to admit.

Now, they didn't suck as bad as approximately 90% of the teams on USD's schedule this year, but ISU did really suck hard and long last year.

(This was, in case you're scoring at home, an attempt to deflect the USD smack into a much less plowed field of Iowa State smack.)

The Kansas loss today should kerblasticfate this "we got close" to Cornell thingy CF and others seem to fixate on.... Good for UNI but this means that you simply can't project one team gets close therefore they'd be competitive against anothe thing. It just doesn't work that way.. on any Given Game day.. Remember, D-II Chaminade beat Ralph Sampson and number one virginia....

Actually, I think that once USD gets into the Summit and SDSU beats them by 20 at frost and 15 in Verm then we won't have deal with most of the yote posters on here.
