Most USD fans I know support their team but seem to find other things to fill their day besides blogging or posting about every single thing that goes on at the U.

I have no idea when Boots took over but when I have time I can go back and check the archives for those years as well. I'm just guessing but I bet it pretty close to even.We are here to add what we can to life, not get what we can from life. -Sir William Osler

Re: Busy Day on USD Board
JackMD - I'll do the research for you since I happen to have an SDSU Men's BB media guide laying around. Here we go.
Boots came to USD in 1988.
1988-89 (Thorson):
1/8/89: SDSU
2/4/89: USD
SDSU 1 win - USD 1 win
1989-90 (Thorson):
1/26/90: USD
2/23/90: USD
1-3
1990-91 (Thorson):
2/2/91: USD
3/1/91: SDSU
3/9/91: SDSU (NCC Tourney)
3-4
1991-92 (Thorson):
2/1/92: USD
2/28/92: USD
3-6
1992-93 (Thorson):
1/16/93: USD
2/12/93: USD
3-8
1993-94 (Soderburg):
1/15/94: USD
2/11/94: USD
3-10
1994-95 (Soderburg):
1/21/95: USD
2/17/95: USD
3-12
1995-96 (Nagy):
1/20/96: SDSU
2/16/96: SDSU
5-12
1996-97 (Nagy):
1/25/97: USD
2/15/97: USD
5-14
1997-98 (Nagy):
1/24/98: SDSU
2/20/98: SDSU
7-14
1998-99 (Nagy):
12/20/98: USD
2/26/99: SDSU
8-15
1999-00 (Nagy):
1/3/00: USD
3/3/00: SDSU
9-16
2000-01 (Nagy):
12/30/00: SDSU
1/26/01: USD
10-17
2001-02 (Nagy):
12/30/01: SDSU
1/25/02: SDSU
12-17
2002-03 (Nagy):
1/16/03: SDSU
2/15/03: USD
13-18
2003-04 (Nagy):
1/9/04: SDSU
2/28/04: USD
3/5/04: USD
14-20
So now the argument is if USD's 20 wins out of 34 games is "most of time." Smack away!

Re: Busy Day on USD Board
So it looks like we were 3-12 against USD under Thorson and Sodeberg.
Since Nagy arrived we are 11-8.
I guess I would say that Boots did have quite an advantage over Thorson and Sodeberg. Nagy faired a little better against Boots although we did lose the last 2 meetings in Vermillion. We are here to add what we can to life, not get what we can from life. -Sir William Osler

Re: Busy Day on USD Board
Just because I like to collect stupid facts, I keep a log of how many posts and users are on the five xDSU/UxD messageboards and update it once a month. I thought you'd like to know that SDSUFans was 31.86 times as active as CoyoteSports in December. Even the second Bison site, BisonSports, was more active. The overall winner this month was Bisonville.
December 2008
Bisonville: 6286
SDSUFans: 5002(nice work Bunnies!)
SiouxSports: 4691
BisonSports: 268
CoyoteSports: 157
(Yes, SDSUFans averages more posts per day than CoyoteSports does in a month.)
I'd give you the 2008 totals, but I only started keeping track of SDSUFans, BisonSports and CoyoteSports in August. You've moved up to second from third since then.
Happy New Year everyone
