Dial up internet - I believe it is an old wooden ship, used during the civil war era.

Could be a lot of things. Your browser might be out of date. If you're on Windows, I suggest you download the latest version of Firefox:

      http://www.mozilla.org

You'll probably have better luck with that. If you're on a Mac, same advice.

        Thanks JimmyJack:

There is a ton of info at that site, but I am not surprised how little I know. I need to take some time and sort this all out. I dont have any problems when I am connected with Medicomm high speed. I have heard of Foxfire but did not know they had a browser.

It's a heckuva lot better than Explorer... it updates constantly, unlike Exploder. I've had very few problems with script errors or the browser "seizing up".

And the cool thing about Firefox, it also has built in filters to warn you against "phishing" sites. Not the band, mind you, but sites that want to steal your information.

Definitely worth the three minute download, Nidaros.

Agreed, I prefer Firefox. It does occasionally make some downloads and other "windows" products a little more difficult to use. Gates doesn't want to make things too easy.

Firefox is highly recommended from here as well. I'd never use Internet Explorer unless I absolutely, positively had to--it's a security and performance train wreck.

Same advice I'd give to prospective student athletes on the choice between SDSU (Firefox) and USD (IE)

If I were a USD fan, the scariest part of this schedule is that it doesn't build for next year. Other than the Great West teams, there is probably at most two of the road D-I games that are the first part of a home and home series. Next year the number of non-D-I games has to be very limited and the challenge of getting the required number of home games (I think 13) is going to be very difficult. In our first year, I believe we player 6-8 teams in the front end of home and home series.
