USD's women's program has been strong going back to Chad Lavin's days, followed by Ryan Williams and Amy Williams. They have a good returning nucleus and Amy Williams was real excited by the incoming recruits. Lots of positives that will attract a lot of interest for the head coach's position. Does the new coach have to be named Williams?

Williams gets a 5 year deal at 575K per year. Nice raise for her.

Frankly she got a better job at a better school. I could think of worse places to go for womens basketball coaches. For Nagy I cant think of many that would be a worse option then wright state, aside from the pay raise. But this is a good example of mens and womens coaches have different paths to take to get to where ever they want to go.

True, but for what its worth, Nagy got a significant raise compared to the coach that was fired from Wright State, while Williams is making $160k less than Nebraska's coach that was fired.

I guess I'm implying that: while your avg South Dakotan is likely to look at what our coaches are/were getting paid and think "wow that's alot of $" (and in SD it is). It's measly when the P5 comes calling. Really we should re-evaluate what AJ is being paid. Add $2 per ticket or something.

Midco does a great job with their coverage of the Summit League. It would be really cool to see something like the B1G Network where you can watch all the schools but I'd guess most schools in the SL wouldn't be able to afford to produce that much

unfortunately you live in Yankton and the Piddle & Diddle sports crew, the local radio stations sports crews, seem to have infatuations for Goddess Amy. When she sniffles from a cold your gonna hear about it. Poor Yankton, surrounded by red and white and red and cream.
