I don't know who was calling the game for Westwood One Radio, but they repeatedly made the point that SDS was simply forcing Braun to his left. They said that his left hand ball skills were good enough to allow him to excel in the Summit, but a serious weakness against a top-level defense like he saw today. True or not, they kept mentioning that.
Braun was a hell of a player. Very difficult to replace, as will be Bjorklund and Wright. Classes like that one don't come along very often and you don't just plug in the new guys and roll (especially when they are not the only seniors). At least not at this level.
