Even though we had to be up at 3 am I think I would prefer our single digit placement in 2003 than this year's placement.

Especially since NBC has ended their coverage and KDLT is now airing a paid advertisement.

The Pride is now on the clock. Number 69 is on 2 away.

Disappointed that McKinney/Coull didn't come up with some new music. That is the exact same song we played in 2003. Sounded great though. Looked as good as the Pride every does when it marches.

HGTV neglected to mention that the band was from South Dakota State University, however, the Travel Channel did. Yay, Travel Channel, boo, HGTV!

It's like 7 miles they had to march I talked to one of the members right before they got ready to leave this morning.

Wife is DVRing the parade and we watched the Pride on HGTV and then Discovery in HD. The HD was awsome...got some good coverage on both channels. Good job Pride! See ya' at FB season.

                            ABC did a good job.

They showed a map of the States and Highlighted Brookings to Pasadena.

Mentioned 1,336 miles and then my kids started yelling and Dana Jacobsen went to Erin Andrews.

                              Dang! Forgot about ABC

Travel Channel did an excellent job, though... HGTV, not so much... too busy promoting their shows and not doing their research.

I wonder how torqued off KDLT is that NBC cut away before South Dakota's lone entry came up?

I thought ABC did a good job, too. I loved the close-up of some folks in the crowd, counting the rows of the band, looking for their member of The Pride. Priceless.

                                Way to go Pride!
