Talked to a friend in SF who is with Avera and he has no idea at this time. Maybe just can't say either.

Just guessing but I'm thinking something to do with the nursing or pharmacy program.

Not a clue about the partnership, but I know the nursing school is planning on moving down to Sioux Falls within the next 5 years. I don't like the idea of that because that's 60-70 from each class x 4 semesters = 240-280 girls leaving Brookings : (

But on a serious note: If it's with the nursing school, maybe that has something to do with it.

Not all nursing students are women.

Are you sure about this? If so then please show me your source. I would be extremely surprised SDSU would remove one of it's premiere programs from campus.

                  I'll take Partnerships for 200 Alex . . .

What is: Avera will operate the orthopedic clinic to be housed in SDSU's new Student Athlete Development Center?

                  (No inside information, just a guess, folks . . . )

Well, if we're guessing, I'll take a shot. The last I heard the new Pharmacy/Chemistry building still needed a financial boost. Again, just a guess. I have have no inside info.

Duh..get the info strait. There are 80 students in each class so 10-20 of them are men.

I bet it has to be about $18 million. That would really get Shepard Hall moving. A new $42-48 million dollar building on campus. Wow!

This is an upgrade that is definitely needed. Very happy to see SDSU working with both of the larger healthcare organizations in the state.
