I think that him going to Penn State works in Penn State's favor as it relates to recruiting Bennett. Penn State needs a 184 pounder. If Brady doesn't come back, Bennett will certainly follow him to PSU.

A semester is a long time and there are just too many things that could take him away. He has another year of eligibility that he could use if he wants another shot and PSU doesn't have another 157 waiting in the wings. He could also decide not to coach. He had no intention of coaching before Hahn reached out to him, he may have other goals. He'll probably also have other coaching offers on the table. This feels a lot like when Seth Gross stayed on the roster for a year with the intention of transferring to Wisconsin and the staff assure us he'd be back or when Bono kept saying that he was going to retire from SDSU. It makes a lot of sense to appear to have a amicable separation. If Brady is seen to have bailed on the team to go back to Penn State and wrestle, Brady looks like a jerk and the Jacks look like someone's second choice. These statements were going to look like this no matter what actually took place and no matter what Brady's intentions actually were. I'm not 100% convinced that he plans on coming back and, even if he does, plans change. I'd say there's about a 35% chance that we see him again and, honestly, that's fine, we can find a better coach.

No offense dude but your an idiot. Bennett is sign sealed and delivered to be a Jack. He even stated he’s a small town guy. Brady has stated he’s coming back after this semester. Everything you said is wrong. Hahn would need to release Bennett from his letter which I doubt he does even if Bennett wants to leave which I doubt he does. You are spreading absolutely ridiculous information that should stay on the guillotine wheee it belongs.

Dumbest take of 2022 goes to you. This feels nothing like gross. Going to college at sdsu when this went down everyone knew gross was gone. Worst kept secret in the ncaa. This feels absolutely nothing like that. This was out of the blue and Brady wrote the whole speech that he’s coming back. Everyone is buying in especially because his brother signed a letter of intent and is coming. You are the only one spreading this misinformation and honestly just go to the guillotine with this nonsense. I 100% trust Brady’s intentions. I want him to win a natty and come back. I feel no hesitation in allowing him to do this. I actually love that Hahn is allowing Brady to chase this as it might if caused resentment if he didn’t. LETS GO BRADY!!!!

Also wombat, you have me so annoyed right now talking down on Brady. I’ve talked and known people from Kasson-mantorville and absolutely nobody has had anything but praise about Brady and his character. He’s a stand up man that has never burnt a bridge. His wrestling career took a bad turn with injuries but if he’s feeling good now I 100% back him into competing again and I 100% believe him when HE says he’s coming back next year. Absolutely drives me up a wall that you come on here dragging him like that! Get real information before you open your mouth again good lord!!!!

I enjoyed the banter, hopefully nobody’s feelings were hurt too badly. I was actually banned from the Guillotine because I hurt someone’s feelings over the Seth Gross saga, we don’t have enough participation here to have anyone banned. I really like Wombats opinions and insight, I hope his possible scenario is wrong, and I will hold him personally responsible if it becomes fruitful
