I watched the Mitchell girls last night. Holy cow! If you get a chance to see them, go do it. They've got 5 or 6 girls at 6'0 or taller, 2 bruisers that can move, a couple of athletes, and several girls wo can shoot. Miller and Young are outstanding. That is a fun team to watch.

I did see the TV tweeted that Macy verballed to SDSU. I've had the chance to watch her play several times. She will make an excellent Jackrabbit. Miller and Young along with their Kernel teammates will be the clear favorite to win the AA girls state championship again this year. Looking forward to seeing them in Jackrabbit uniforms.

For thread purposes she's a 2014 recruit...but this is great news nontheless. Mitchell will roll again this year with 2 SDSU recruits. If you get a chance to watch them play, I suggest doing so!

Macy Miller from Mitchell verballed.

AJ was asked about this Wednesday night and he very properly stated that he could not comment and he did not comment. My understanding is that she is a great kid and she will be a great addition to the team.

I have watched that North Tartan team a couple of times this year. Savanah is tall and can block shots but she is not strong enough or fast enough to keep up with her team mates. She would probably be better off on Tartan's second team. However, because of her size she'll get A LOT of interest - but she needs to get a lot stronger. (I did see her dunk the ball in warm-ups which is kind of cool -) On a different note. Ober looked strong and smooth- I think she'll be a very nice addition to the Jackrabbit team!

I'm confused or else I'm ignorant. Does SDSU have interest in this player or are we just talking about her because she is so tall?

Well ,she plays on the same North Tartan AAU team as SDSU recruit Ober(that team also has current all-time leading scorer in girls basketball history in Minn,,Becca Dahlman (sp?) on it also)Kerry Young,will play summer ball for the Schoolers,as will Kaitlyn Severyn.Tiffaney Flaata plays for Metro Stars black.Chynna Stevens played for Northern Lites last yr, but she's not on any of their rosters for this year?For anyone that is interested in following recruits this summer.Sorry for this info in this post occuring in this thread, which is supposed to be about 2013 recruits only.I think a 6'8" girls basketball player is always going to generate interest,but from our coaching staff, i don't know.

Just fan interest that I can see. However, she's not committed anywhere, and is #4 on the MN list....

Hope AJ is checking her out to see if she have any interest in SDSU.
