As far as a game prediction I think the biggest factor in this game will be the experience of the Jacks Women in this type of atmosphere. SDSU has played in NCAA tourneys and in front of packed and loud crowds in Frost. That is one thing USD is not used to and because of that I think the final score might actually be a wider margin than talent differencial between the two programs.
I think SDSU will win this game by about 25 and likely have around a 20 point lead at halftime. I do believe next time the two clubs play it will be closer and the Yotes will narrow the gap more consistantly after tonight. Ryun Williams is likely to have the program at a fairly high level but most of the players play scared, or at the very least have very fragile confidence on the offensive end. That is one of the biggest reasons I am predicting a large final margin. If Williams doesn't have the lady Yotes in better shape 2 years from now I will likely come to the conclusion that he isn't the right fit. I do think he will be able to do some good things but the Yotes are not ready for the kind of atmosphere they will run into at Frost.
I think if there is one thing that might favor USD tonight is that they are a good defensive team and have always brought that part of their game to the floor. I can see a 66-41 type game coming out of it. If the Yotes don't get flustered by the atmosphere and the game settles in I can see it more like 66-53. My official prediction will be 66-41.
