I had just typed out a book about what is going on this season and I got to the end and I had said...

They need to get their confidence back.
They need to remember how to win.
They need to cut back on the turnovers.

The third is the key. We could have/should have won most of the games this year. I don't think there is a team we have lost to that if we were on, we couldn't beat.

That said they haven't gelled as a team yet and I don't think they have established who the leader of the team is. BUT, I have total confidence they will work it out.

Good points. I still expect us to win the Summit, but I'm starting to get this feeling that last year was one of those magical years that come along only so often.

Did we hold pre-season All-American candidate Monica Wright to 8 points (4-15 shooting), or was she just not needed? If we held her in check, that could be an accomplishment.

At the start of the season AJ did say that last year was last year and he didn't quite know how this team was going to be. I think our expectations for this team were the same as last year and for the same type of season. This is kind of like 2007-2008, the Jacks came out with a good schedule and the same thing is happening. Turn overs and bad play. We had like five or six loses going into conference play one of those loses a bad one to ORU. They have a week to get ready for the first two conference games at WIU and IUPUI. Confidence is probably real low right now. The ladies just need to practice the fundamentals, work hard on beating the pressure defense they have been seeing a lot of so far this season. And the monkey is off their back, last years great season is not going to be repeated so they need to, and we need to forget about it and move on and win the conference.
