It is her...and you are right. She stands around a lot and thinks she has to blow the whistle every once in awhile...and usually doesn't call it (on either team) the way the audience sees it. On one of our drives to the basket, two players collided and the ref was right there, when out on the perimeter comes a whistle and she calls a charge, which she would have had a hard time even seeing from her vantage point. Ugggg!

What would it take to get the ref situation squared around?? TV said that there were two supervisors of officials at the game Sunday.

She sang the National Anthem at one of the Summitt League Tournament sessions last March. A lot better at singing than officiating.

Yeah, I remember her. She sat in front of us at the tourney and a friend of mine and I might have made some comments regarding how bad the refs in the Summit League were. She is really bad and shouldn't be a ref.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

I dont recall refs from the D-2 days being that bad? mens or womens. but summit refs are killin me. Usually my dad does not think poorly of refs like i do untill he saw the summit refs. the inconsistancy is amazing from last year.

I tell you what. She was a very good ref when I had her 10 years ago while playing on a 6th grade traveling team. Yes, I am saying that she used to do tournaments for me when I was in elementary and middle school. What a great ref she was for those games. Get off her back.

The guy sitting in front of me said her and the balding short guy are both from Sioux Falls, they both weren't very good. They must be new at this level?

Pretty sure this is their third year at least. They were there all last season, and I think it's incredibly inappropriate to have the same refs at the same games over and over.

They both do HS AA in SD....average at best, but refs aren't the reason we lost....Seems like (IMO) to many people on here are trying to shift the reason to them (things the team can't control) rather than things the team can control.

Exactly. She is a horrible ref and everybody knows that. Play better defense and rebound in the last 10 minutes and we probably win that game.

This years team is not last years team, its this years team. A.J. will regroup, our women will improve, they will be ready to compete in the conference and return to the big dance.

Does not having Mehlum on the sidelines have anything to do with our slow start?

I think that part of the reason of our slow start is our schedule , sagarins has us at the 9th schedule strength currently.
