Except for the turnovers and some sloppy play looked like the Jacks of last year. Did not give up got aggressive and played. Ketty was a beast in the last part of the second half and overtime. Jill came alive and I think Maria has replaced Wark.

Wow, what a game. Way to play tough Jacks. I can see why the Zags were considered one of the top mid majors. They played tough D until the Jacks wore them down in the second half. Great night for Boever, and Ketty came up big when they needed it in the second half. Macie battled hard but Vandersloot is good, how about this line 21 pts, 9 assists, 11 steals.

omg...that was fantastic. I kept thinking the whole game.. the zags were a much more cohesive team out of the gate but we kept getting our legs under us as the game wore on.. started gelling... if this is early... hold on to your hats boys and girls we are in for another good year.

That game has got to count for like five or six in terms of bringing this team together.

Gonzaga pushed them off the dock, and while it wasn't pretty at first, they eventually figured out how to keep their heads above water.

Got to like Rotert & Cornemann coming through with those key baskets, and holy CRAP, how far behind the MEN'S line was Young when she sank that three?

on the other hand, how good was Leah D., what an intro to the team, she was huge tonight that basket in the first half where she went up with two zags on her and made the bucket was sweet.

That is an awesome story! Wow! Last night reminded me of my first year at STATE in our first WNIT run. Wow what an experience! I hope everyone enjoyed the game. I realize our jacks didn't play great to start the game, but the overall body was really good! Look out for this team as they continue to gel! GO JACKS!

I'm glad it was such a great atmosphere..especially for our friend Mr. Hays at ESPN. An atmosphere like that will be engrained in his head all year. Bring on the ESPN articles!

Respectfully disagree, we don't have 6-10 teams on our schedule the caliber of Gonzaga, I really respect that team alot, but i know what you mean, yes, we have to continue to improve each & every game, turn overs included.
