There was a point--I can't remember when exactly in the first half--where Jenn got settled in.

Before the tip, she looked visibly nervous down in center court, and IMO, her early, skittish, play took away the Jacks' inside game and allowed OU to focus on the perimeter.

However, once she got everything together, so to speak, it was all over.

And how about Macie Michelson???

It got too busy at work this afternoon to be able to keep up with everyone's posts, but when my dinner break came around at 4:45p, I headed to the break room and logged on to the stream from that justin.tv website ...

Got to see the last seven-minutes or so, without audio. Have to admit it got a little emotional watching those last few minutes. I'm sure a couple people looked at me and wondered "What's wrong with him?"

Nothing ... it's just A Great Day To Be A Jackrabbit! Congratulations to AJ and the team!

What a great second half. The Lady Jacks are a fun team to watch. They play with energy, play as a team and seem to really be enjoying themselves. They play basketball how it is meant to be played.

I cannot wait for the women's tournament to start. Go Jacks!

Was at Cubby's for the game...you could hear a pin drop during the first half.....for obvious reasons.

I understand from some tournament volunteers that the ESPN guys were trying to convince the fans on the end to rush the floor.

But we don't do that. We're SDSU. We don't rush the floor. We EXPECT to win.

Creating news instead of covering it....

Agree with you Filbert, rushing the floor is for huge upsets. Like if the men would have made it to tonight and to knocked off NDSU in the finals. Even then, not sure that SDSU class would overcome that.

Boy, with how bad the passing was in the first half, you really didn't know if the Jacks could do it. But they came out in the second half and made the passes more crisp and cut down the turnovers. They just started the second half with more fire behind them and you knew they were going to do it. Great second half!!!!!! Very nice tourney awards for Jenn and Jill.

I was expecting a rush to the court. But I was glad when it didn't happen so the awards could be handed out properly. Oaklands #4 (sorry I can't remember the name right now) was a stud in the first half. She scored 20 of there 39 points.

Great win for the women!!! Here's to a good seeding on Monday.
