    Re: Indiana - Game Thread

Rabbit Den Readers are about done. Going to try a few different ways of producing them. They should be done tonight. So if you want a copy you know the routine. I know the game programs sold out fast Saturday night. And this will be your second best chance of getting something with a little info about the players, school and other stuff. Now I know it isn't packed with stats but you can use this to know who's who.

      Bluehat,

Why not post the Rabbit Den Reader on this site for all of Jackrabbit Nation to see.

Well if Mr. Filbert is willing to help me out we might be able to do so.

I think the visiting Hoosiers will enjoy seeing the clip from the movie, "Hoosiers" -- the hand-clapping scene in the lockerroom.  I hope it's played at a time when the Hoosiers are on the court so they can see the video clip.

The WNIT run is great media exposure ... can't buy this kind of attention.

My wife commented she's glad we have general admission tickets because she wants to stand the entire game just like last Saturday (she is NOT kidding).

I think I read somewhere on this thread that Indiana had 1000 at their game Monday night. Does anyone have what their average attendance has been? I would guess that coming into Frost w/ 6000 fans will be a little more than they are used to. Wish I could be there, so all you lucky ticket holders, make some noise. Interesting to hear the Illinois State coach mention the noise prohibited them from communicating on the court at times. The closeness of the arena and the noise hopefully gives our women a big advantage.

            GO JACKS!!

Looks like they might be used to good crowds for away games.

The Indiana website lists an eight person roster. In recent press releases, they talk about the magnificent seven etc. Apparently they're down to seven players.

I can't imagine trying to play the Jackrabbits with only seven players on a court where the noise level will likely exceed that of a heavy-metal rock concert.

I predict seven very tired Hoosiers at the end of the game . . .

no doubt, with our up tempo "rez ball" style of play, and a 6'7" slow center its gonna be 5 v. 4 all night

Their eighth player had her senior season end due to injury.

The matchup will be interesting. Courtney held her own against a 6-5 player; we'll see how she fares against an experienced 6-7 center.

Perhaps we shouldn't use the Hoosiers clip because the Hickory team in that movie usually only played with about seven players.........
