Good for KSFY. Watch'em tonight if you're in the area.
Yeah, child pornography story just aired. Maybe they'll also have highlights of the game. 2 for 1 kind of thing.

Highlights of the game just completed. All first half with quick bit of commentary. Then they went on to AC men's BB. Nothing about the WNIT or Summit League championship.

I wonder if the other two stations had any coverage . . .

Nice win against a tough team. The Jacks apparently had some trouble with the zone defense, but nothing that good shooting couldn't cure. Seniors Andrea Verdegan and Courtney Grimsrud have been big-time contributors to the program. Thank you, thank you.

KELO had a pretty good report. Don't know about KDLT.

A few facts about this game and this season.

SDSU had 15 Three-Point shots fall in the game against Oral Roberts. That ties the Summit League record set by Oral Roberts at Southern Utah 1/4/06 and Valparaiso at UMKC 2/28/05.

On the season SDSU has made 226 Three-Point shots on the season. This is the most made Three-Point shots by a team in a season in Summit League history. The previous record was Valparaiso with 210 in 2006-2007. We still get at least one more game in the WNIT to add to this total.

SDSU has 2,107 total points on the season, which is the 20th highest season total in league history. We have at least one more game to add to this total.

The child porn thing was in the Collegian six weeks ago. Did KSFY just find out? Maybe somebody should clue them into that... and while we're at it let's clue KSFY in on a couple of other things: Our women's coach is Aaron JohnsTon, not Johnson, and the women's basketball team is the Jackrabbits, not the Lady Jacks. Thorstensen can't seem to figure those things out. Ugh.
                    Holy nutmeg!

Re: Last UP: ORU Eagles soared North.....

I caught the stories on both KDLT and KSFY, and part of KELO. KDLT & KSFY pretty much the same, KDLT did make mention of the time lag this year for the WNIT whereas next year they will be heading to the tourney in SF. Not sure if KSFY said this, maybe it was the other way around.

Just so you know, KDLT sports starts about 2-3 minutes before KSFY and KELO, so if your spouse allows you to control the clicker, you can usually catch the leads on two of the stations.

I changed back and forth between Kelo and KSFY and it appeared to me that they had identical coverage from Frost.

BACK TO THE GAME... We came out and played awesome the first half! It was nice to see someone challenge us in the second half and post a comeback. I thought the women were kinda shocked at first but then dug their heals in and fought back. Andrea, Kristin, and Stacie WOW!!! that was an amazing run in the 2nd half. I've never seen the 3's rain like that. Bring on the WNIT
Jackrabbits: Long ears, strong hind legs, gritty, relentless, fearless.

                              Interesting stats:
Through the first 22 games the Jacks outscored the opposition by 166 points or an average margin of 7.54 points a game.
The last 7 games the Jacks outscored the opposition by 220 points or an average margin of 31.43 points a game.
On the year the Jacks outscored the opposition by 386 points or an average margin of 13.31 points a game.
Moral of the story: the Jacks toyed with conference foes in the first half of conference play.

I should clarify. The video footage was identical, not the comments.
