But the Dakotas have them lay two eggs going from potentially a first seed to a fourth seed in Summit tourney.

Our only unavenged conference loss. But that was in Tulsa, early Dec., only a portion of our 10 players healthy.

Multitude of reasons to sends ORU back home with a goose egg for wins in the Dakotas.

1) Senior Night for Andrea Verdegan and Courtney Grimsrud, two that have led Jacks defense and still pack in points.

2) Our HOUSE, 20 and counting consecutive home wins. I hope we can see 25 yet this season.

3) ORU loss at Tulsa. Like WIU at Brookings, time for a statement game.

4) A "reasonable" last warm-up for the WNIT, and the 2 week wait. Jacks have been showing that they are hitting on all cylinders since squeeking out the two OT wins at Oakland and IPFW a month ago.

Time for the Brookings fans, SDSU students, and others that want to see D-I caliber ball to get out and fill Frost Arena on a MONDAY NITE!

I think the students will be there! Its Greeks at the Games and that usually brings a good crowd! Plus there's not a lot of tests this week with spring break only 2 weeks away and most of the professors looking to put their tests the week before break! Should be a good warm up for the WNIT! I went to the Oral Roberts University website to read the pre-game story...there isn't one. Likely reason: just didn't get one posted. Possible reason: Didn't know what to say.

Looked for Game Notes, posted before each game. Our 67-57 loss at ORU is mentioned in the game notes for the NDSU v. ORU game. What? No game notes either? Hmmm....possible reason: just didn't get them prepared. Likely reason: don't know what to say.

The Golden Eagles lost 75-72 in double overtime in Fargo.

We'll welcome the Golden Eagles to the Frost Arena buzzsaw. My prediction: SDSU 91, ORU 73

With the nasty weather to the south (read Tulsa area to KC ) bet we'll be seeing what? 50 ORU fans to cheer their seniors last loss, I mean, game?

I'd like to see a nice 10/15 point lead at the half, and a 15/25 point spread by the end.

Hope both Andrea and Courtney have double/doubles, tho Andrea's would be from assists/points, and Courtney's rebounds/points.

But most importantly, that the Jacks come out and control from the beginning!

ORU was trying to go for 1 shot, and slow the game up. But Jacks pressure is dooming that choice.

As low scoring as the first 10 minutes were and the fact ORU was stalling for a good portion of the half, those 41 pts are pretty impressive. The Jacks are playing some incredible offense right now, may be the best ball movement I've ever seen out of them.
