    Dominating win

    85-60 final!

48 straight wins when led at half

    18 straight home wins.

What an awesome coach this team has!

    Glad to have AJ here.

AJ post game comments - "No team plays their top player fewer minutes than the Jacks." We will beat most teams with our balance and rested players. Great game by all the ladies.

Steve says 3800 for the women's game. Nice job Jackrabbit fans!!!

What a treat for this young lady from DeSmet. She spent the entire game with the team on the bench. It looked like Jen Warkenthein took her under her wing after the game. I am sure this is something Kylie will never forget.

I guess she was at practice on Thursday also. There will be a story on Kylie on the evening news with Katie Couric Friday.

It was real touching after the game when the women were at center court, they made sure that Kylie came into the huddle. Jen then took her to the bench and walked off the court with her with her arm around her. What a special night for a very special young lady.

Did he say who our best player is? Do we even have a best player? The depth of this team is scary, and there are only two seniors!

That game was quite a show. Cripes alive I've never seen a team shoot like that!

Way to take over the Summit ladies!

I forgot who it was (Wark?), but the blocked 3 pointer was great.

The whole game definately had a NOT IN OUR HOUSE!!! kind of feel to it...brought back memories of last years WNIT games for me.

The depth, and the ability to swap in 7-10 and see no drop-off in talent/abilities, teamwork, and defense was the emphasis of AJ's comments. He did say that this was probably the best game this year by the ladies. His 1/2-time speech was that they were still working too hard on the offensive end, and that if they had a good, open shot to take it, much as they did in the last two min of the first half. The ladies came out of the locker room and just buried Westerwinds with open tre's, transition buckets, steals.

WIU is the only team within 1 game of the Jacks, and we made a thorough statement Sat. night to the Summit league. We've seen how we match up in league, and we ARE the LEADERS.

Only ORU has a win against the Jacks that hasn't been resolved. But that game was in early Dec. with 3 or 4 of the top 8 Jacks out hurt, at ORU. Next time, it's in Brookings, and we should be at full strength.

This team demonstrated that they can pack the house. We have 4 home contests left with IUPUI, NDSU, ORU and Centenary. We should pack the ORU/NDSU games, and the IUPUI & Centenary games, on a Mon. may be a bit sparse. I hope that we will see great student support at the two Mon. Games. It was a great intimidation factor last night.

Jacks are tied with Tennessee for the 2nd longest home winning streaks in the NCAA D I. When Old Dominion and Hartford falter, I would like the Jacks to move to #1.

                      Go Jacks!!!

Definitely going to be there Monday and the rest of the home games. Its fun to see each Summit team live and I walk away with a feeling that we finally have a conference, and one very different from the NCC. Aaron is showing he can win and I expect Monday will be a win. Our men are like a well pump analogy being out on the praire. When the talent well runs dry we have to wait for the next big rain and that what has maybe happend with Coach Nagy. We have had two good rains with the last two recruiting classes, but need to prime the pump to get the water flowing. Coach Johnston seems to have had a full well and working pump. Its great to be part of the Summit.

Was at the game last night and there is really only one way to describe it:

If there is a Summit League opponent that is going to come into Frost and get a win, it isn't going to be anytime soon!!

That was as good as I've seen the women's team play in person since the Colorado game last year. It was truly spectacular!

I will not miss another home game, I will promise you that!

                          Go Jacks!!

I couldn't agree with you more propar80. It was great to see the killer instinct return from last year and bury a team and not give them any hope of getting back into the game.

Looking forward to a repeat on Monday night.

                                This is mine:

Leading by 23 early in the second half, three different Jacks – in a single possession – forced fumbles in on-the-ball situations and dove to corral the loose ball.
