Grimsrud has one of the most unorthodox approaches to FT shooting I have ever seen. She would be better off using just one hand like Shaq tried for awhile. Needs to take about 30 degrees of arch off her shot.

Snookums thought at the games last weekend that Grimsrud had changed her free throw shot. It looks really terrible.

On the upside, how much muscle weight do y'all think she put on in the offseason. She looked like she filled out pretty well.

Jacks inbound, Rotert fouled. Hits first (has 9 points), and so is second 29-26.

It's a little painful watching Courtney at the line. BUT it sure fooled the UC-Riverside coach! That was so funny when he had Courtney intentionally fouled thinking she'd miss and they'd get the ball back. Wrong. She swished both and the look on the UC-R coach's face was priceless.

Rotert is the real deal. Already playing as if she has many college games to her credit.

                  29-26 JACKS!

Great defense Jacks...cause a shot-clock violation by the Ducks

                      Re: Oregon

Yeah, you would think that after 3 years of playing someone would have taught Courtney to shot. reminds me of a twisted pretzel....like Bill Cartwright from the Bulls old days.

                        Re: Oregon

Shot clock violation by the Ducks! But Meier picks up foul and Ducks have the ball. 2:56 left. Ducks miss, Jacks get the ball (we're down 10-8 rebounding). Turn over by Jacks and right back by Ducks. (15 TO for Ducks, 12 for Jacks.) ROTERT HITS ANOTHER THREE.

Rotert hits her third three-pointer. She has 13 points! (Is there a Summit League freshman of the year award?)

I had a feeling she would make those FT's when they fouled her intentionally. I still hid my eyes while she was shooting them, though. Bill Cartwright analogy is a good one. Rotert does seem confident.

Well, I am amazed Aj finally pulled Muck from starting line up. She has to produce at some aspect ofhte game to deserve that spot. It didn't happen last year and it hasn't happened this year either.

Jacks up 32-26. Ducks miss free throw, but they get the rebound. Schutloffel knocks ball loose and Rotert has ball. Rotert HITS ANOTHER THREE. 35-26!!
