Re: Bad Shoes or Bad Feet?

Is she a junior? if so that would make sense because AJ said on a pre-game that he had 3 SD verbals and I know of the 2 from Pierre....

That is correct two different people. Her Aunt, Karla played basketball; while her Mom played Softball at SDSU.

Thanks for clarifying. Karla was a standout basketball player at SDSU. Pam was pretty darn good at roundball too but chose to play softball in college.

While I would not be at all surprised that Tara Heiser would become a Jackrabbit basketball player when the time comes, seeing her at a couple of Jackrabbit games doesn't come close to indicating a verbal committment. The only reason I say so is that Jackrabbit basketball games are basically a family outing for many in the Stevenson family.

I'm not trying to refute anything, just pointing out that there are certainly several Stevenson relatives at any home Jackrabbit game. I hope she chooses SDSU, even though I haven't seen her play since she was a freshman, when she was already a standout for Watertown.

I'm on my way to watch Heiser and the Watertown Arrows play this evening.

Agreed. I talked to them today, I didn't ask, and it didn't come up. Time will tell.

Re: Bad Shoes or Bad Feet?

Watertown Arrows defeated Aberdeen Central, 47-39 (I'm pretty sure that was the final...geez, bad memory, just walked out of the place!).

It looked like a season opener. Heiser did fine but will play much better (as will both teams) after a few games are in the scorebook.

Since we seem to have drifted well off-topic (perhaps for good?) I'll go ahead and close this thread.
