Not the AP poll, but ESPN columnist Graham Hays has us as the #3 mid-major (Gonzaga #2).

I have a lot of confidence in this team...but know that Gonzaga is much better than Minnesota, so it will be a tough game on the road there. Regardless of the outcome, if the Jacks play tough, I don't think a loss to a top 10 team would keep us out of the top 25. GO JACKS...let's get one more "killer" Friday night!

I posted in the Minnesota game thread, but AP poll voter Mechelle Voepel (now of ESPN, once of the K.C. Star) already has us at #25. (Wouldn't be surprised if she moves us up for next week's poll.)

And I believe you are comparing the AP and ESPN polls together. We are 26th in the Coaches' Poll and 29th in the AP poll.

I'll state again. If we best both the Gophers and the Zags we will crack the top-25!!!

SDSU has gained another 16 points since the last poll and is only 5 short of being rated. It's coming.

That would be nice....I'll be rolling old-school, with the AM radio on, considering there is no way to watch this thing live. UM's website doesn't have the webcast and neither does Summit.com.

That would be nice....I'll be rolling old-school, with the AM radio on, considering there is no way to watch this thing live. UM's website doesn't have the webcast and neither does Summit.com.

Jacks best shot of cracking the top 25 will be after two SDSU wins on the road this week. From here on out our opponents' RPI falls fast. The dominating win over ORU was noticed, along with the Cancun results.

Jacks WBB will have a great shot of cracking the top 25 as long as they are XX-1, because we're already seeing multiple teams in the top 25 with multiple losses, and they're not even into conference play already.

This has been a super OOC slate, and the Jacks are doing well. Now, we need our opponents to start being top 25, preferrably top 10, as that will do more for the Jacks RPI than to sweep the Summit. So GO WIS, OR, UTAH, ILL, MT - win/top your conferences.

I'm going to have to really disagree with you here. If we beat both Minnesota & Gonzaga...we'll be ranked next Monday. I'd put money on it!
