My thoughts too, fast paced game with hurried shots and passes is not at all conducive to Jackrabbit style of play and with two playing who had zero experience playing at the D1 level, makes it all a new experience . I'm not worried, it was a great learning experience and it helps to give 2 of our R-Fr and two of our senior class some good game experience at a pretty good level of D1 player opposition.

I would tend to think AJ played two Fr. to determine a little whether he needs a transfer, especially up front since right now it appears we will have two Fr and a Soph as reserves up front…none of which have playing time.

if I understood correct, need to be in the top 2 in the pool to play tomorrow. if that is true, we need JMU to lose both games today to have a shot. not sure what the tiebreakers would be. guessing our low score vs SC probably make it tough

I’m glad we sent redshirt freshmen but that’s the score you expect against the top players in the country. The experience matters more than these scores.

Yes, 3 games for ea team in pool play, 1 played yesterday (Fri) and two are played today (Sat), the top 2 in ea of the pools go on to play in the medal round on (Sun), the remaining teams get two more games in the consolation rd on (Sun) also.

Looks like they learned quite a bit from playing their first couple of games, much more fluid and got open a lot more, so they had better shots .

Good experience overall. Impressed with our two redshirts. Next season should another fun one!

It looks like Abdouch took advantage of hitting the weight room during her redshirt year to put on some good weight. Big change from what she looked like coming out of high school. She looks like she can contribute on both ends of the floor.
