I get wanting to keep the middle open for Brooklyn, but Mesa seems to be hanging behind the arc too much.

I wonder if the seating arrangement behind the baskets impacts perspective. I tended to think St. Thomas was a tougher shooting location, but I could be misremembering that too

obviously!! I trust AJ, but it is curious to me why Fox plays so much more than some of the others. she is the backup to Paige. i get that, but she even plays together with Paige. she really is not shooting very well for quite a while. Maddie V gives a lot more size and better shooting. Kolbeck has more size and when last year ended she was shooting very well. Hopp plays with a lot of toughness. she offers us someone who takes it to the hoop hard and rebounds well from the guard spot

i am NOT trying to say Fox should not play or be critical of her. i also understand the difficulty of keeping players in rhythm when you are playing too many!! I guess more than anything I am complimenting the other players and thinking they also have a lot to offer

Brooklyn has been very good on FTs this year, but she is having a rough day today. credit to her for the improvement over her career

The officials are awful. Calling way too many fouls. Let them play. On both sides.

Only shot 23% from 3 but still won by 20. We could be down by double digits with a minute left and I’d still have confidence in this team finding a way to win. Brooklyn with a new career high. Paige now the program leader in assists for the D1 era.

yeah, I dont know. i sure dont see anything that looks especially problematic. Timmer got into a decent rhythm in the second half

I'm surprised that Colbeck seems to have fallen out of the rotation except for mop up duty. She's very good defensively and like you said, she has the ability to hit a 3.
